7 Way to lighten your darkened skin color

Many people spend a lot of time and money caring for their facial skin but neglect their hands and legs. It’s important to take care f all of our body equally. 

Because our feet and hands are more exposed there is a high possibility our skin will darken more compared to the rest of our body. Reasons for this are: exposure to sunlight, working with certain harmful chemicals, doing house chores without having a glove on, walking barefoot… etc… 

Now, let’s give your simple remedies on how to lighten your darkened skin color

1. Lemon

Lemon is an easily accessible fruit which is multi-purposed. When used on skin, it can clear up dirt and darken areas. Because it rich with vitamin C, It can also clean dead skin cells.

Use

A.Take a slice of lemon, sprinkle some sugar on it, then apply on skin. After 10 minutes, wash with clean water. Do this twice a week. 

B.mix lemon fluid and honey, apply on skin and wash after 10 minutes. Do this three times a week. After doing this apply cream or lotion so your skin doesn’t dry up, also avoid being exposed to sunlight immediately after.  

2. Yoghurt
Yoghurt has lactic acid content, which can clear dead and darkened skin from our body. In addition to that it can also make our skin smoother. 

Use 

A. take a home made yoghurt and apply it on your hands and legs. Leave it there for 10-15 minutes then wash it with warm water. 

B. Mix yoghurt and rose water in equal portions and add 1 spoon of glycerine. apply it before bed. Then wash it off in the morning. 

3. Cucumber
Using cucumber is very useful for skin care. It is know for restoring skin to its natural color.

Use
A. Take half of a cucumber and apply on your skin for 5 minuets. You wash after 15 minutes. Do this 2 or 3 times a day. 

B. Mix cucumber and lemon fluid. Put it on your skin and wash it after ten minutes. This also should be done 2 times a day. 

C. Add a spoon of Olive oil on crushed cucumber. Apply on your hands and feet then leave it for 10 minutes before washing with clean water. 

4. Aloe
Aloe Also restores natural skin condition. Its oil character can give our skin its oily nature. 

Use
A. Take a leaf of Aloe massage it on your skin for 5 minutes. Then wash it off after 30 minutes. Do this twice day. 

B. Compress Aloe leave to extract its fluid, almod oil on it then apply on darkened skin. Leave it for 15-20 minuets then wash up. 

5. Orange skin
Orange skin has high vitamin c content which cleans dead skin cells from our skins. 

Use
A.Take 2 spoons of crushed orange skin and mix it with yoghurt or milk. Massage it on affected area, keep massaging for 20 minutes. 

B. Take 2 spoons of crushed orange skin, then add rose fluid on it. Also mix up with spoon of Turmeric and honey. Apply for 15 minutes then wash witch cold water. You can do this 2-3 times per week. 

6. Tomato
A compound named Lycopene is found in tomatoes. This compound is capable of healing skin affected by sun burn.

Use
A. Massage a sliced tomato on the affected area. Wait till it dries and wash if off. You can do this before you take a shower. 

B. Take crushed tomato and mix it with milk. Dip a cotton in then massage your skin. Leave it for an hour and wash. You can do this once or twice a day. 

7. Turmeric
Nutrients found in Turmeric helps clear out darkened skin.  

Use
Mix 2 spoon of turmeric with milk and apply on your skin. Let it sit there for 20 minutes. Them wash it off with warm water. Do this for once or twice a day and you’ll see a quick difference
