Flax seeds boost moisture and shine to hair and are known to promote healthy hair growth. The nutrients contained in flax seeds and their benefits are listed below.

Here are some home remedies for flax seeds
Use flax seed oil as hair oil: warm the amount you believe is necessary for your scalp and hair. Apply from scalp to your hair tip and massage slowly. Cover for 2 hours with plastic and rinse afterwards. This remedy will make your hair soft and curly.
Prepare flax seed gel: you need 1 cup of raw flax seeds, juice of one large lemon, 2 glasses of water and 4 spoons olive oil or coconut oil. Boil flax seeds in the water for 5 minutes. Then add the lemon juice and the olive or coconut oil and stir well. Wait till the mixture cools and filter the seeds. Then cool some more to make a gel. This gel has no chemicals so it can be applied daily without side effects.
Use as food: flax seeds contain vitamin B1, phosphorus, copper and magnesium that have anti-aging properties. If added to daily diet, they boost softness of skin, facilitate blood circulation and regulate menstrual cycle. However, it is not recommended for cancer patients and pregnant women to consume large amounts or flax seeds. Some people may also be allergic to it.
Consume 1 or 2 spoons of powdered flax seeds with water, a little honey or sugar. Taking this daily before breakfast also aids for weight loss.
Consumption of flax seeds also removes waste materials from the intestine, regulates cholesterol levels, prevents cancer, increases immunity by speeding up WBC formation and regulates pulse.
