Increase in weight occurs when the calories consumed are not burned and then extra calories are added to the body. The following methods to prepare drinks for weight loss are simple, have no side effects, and if properly used, can be quite effective.

  1. Honey: the first method is to consume honey with lemon and for preparation a tablespoon of honey and a teaspoon of lemon juice along with a cup of warm water are required. Mix the honey and the lemon juice in the warm water then drink it before meal in the morning. The second method is to prepare honey with cinnamon. Cinnamon helps control the level of sugar in the blood and when mixed with honey is effective in weight loss. Mix honey and cinnamon powder in a cup of warm water and stir well. This drink should be taken before meal in the morning as well. 
  2. Carrot juice: carrot juice is effective in speeding up metabolism of the body by breaking down glucose and fat. It is also rich in various vitamins such as vitamin A, C and K which helps regulate blood sugar levels. So it is best to chop up a couple of carrots, make a juice out of them then drink them each morning before breakfast to speed up weight loss. 
  3. Apple cider vinegar: one way to use apple cider vinegar for weight loss is by mixing two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar with a cup of water then drinking it 2 or 3 times a day before meals. The second way is to mix apple cider vinegar with honey. Add 2 tablespoons of each honey and apple cider vinegar on boiling water then add tea. This drink can be taken 3 times a day. 
  4. Parsley tea: boil 2 two teaspoons of dried parsley in a cup of water for 10 minutes or use parsley tea bags as an alternative. Drinking this tea 2 or 3 times a day can be quite effective in weight loss. 
  5. Black pepper and lemon: the content in black pepper reduces the formation of new fatty cells and reduces fat and burns unnecessary calories with its antioxidant properties. 4 tablespoons of lemon juice, 1 tablespoon of honey and 1 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper should be mixed well with a cup of boiled water. It should be taken in the morning and if taken frequently can visibly reduce body fat.
