Side effects of holding in your urine
Waste materials must be removed from our bodies properly. Most people however, hold in their urine when they are occupied. Studies show this habit has very huge consequences. It is also recommended to drink 2 liters of water daily and urinate properly to remain healthy. Here are a few side effects of holding in your urine.
1.Losing control of bladder: our bladders are only capable of holding 1 to 2 cups of fluid. Holding in your urine exerts a pressure on the bladder and make it difficult for you to control it especially later in life.
2.Discomfort and high levels of pain: people have the habit of holding in their urine have experienced discomfort and pain even after being relieved.
3.Losing concentration: when you hold in your urine, you brain will be focused on reminding you how much you have to relieve yourself. This brings about loss of concentration. On a side note, driving while holding in your urine is as dangerous as driving while intoxicated.
4.Kidney disease: this habit makes you more vulnerable to kidney disease which may be difficult to treat.
5.Difficult urination: the habit of holding in your urine eventually makes it difficult to urinate as trying to urinate becomes painful and starts to take too long.
