Story of a homeless kid;
John, a Kenyan homeless kid is one of many beggars with a big heart to share what he has. He begs every day to get what little thing he could get to survive and sleep on the streets.
And like any day he began his day by asking for money from cars, cars stopped by a traffic light. He keeps on asking for little money he could get from the drivers. As he was doing that he got to a car where there was a person, Gladicamada, with a tube in her nose and a condition that he didn’t expect. And so, he asked her what the tube does and what happened to her. Gladicamada explained everything to him. She told him that she breathes with a man-made oxygen tank, that she struggles with her eyes and hasn’t been able to walk for 7 years and has no money to treat herself. And that she has been looking for a better but chipper hospital ever since.
And so, while standing beside the car expecting money, he couldn’t control his tears. John then reached out to his pocket and gave her what little he could for her treatment.
People around the place saw how he reacted and were very touched by his actions and emotions. They started taking pictures and organizing stories to help her. and so, they did. They reached out to everyone who cared to share, on Facebook and other social media. Seeing that a kid from a street could offer what little he had, people around the country started to donate. Upon the request of the people, they paid all her treatment money, 4 million shillings.
By the act of this kid, she was able to see through her obstacles. She went to India and got a full treatment and was free form it.
There Is nothing small or big to offer a person. You can offer what little thing you have and make a person’s life easier. No matter how little thing you have. So make sure to share, make sure to be there for a person, you being there is enough to a person who can’t pay anything.
