Henna: henna has antifungal properties which make it a primary choice to get rid of bad shoe smell. Mix one tablespoon of henna with a glass of water and apply on the area between the toes. Do this twice of three times a day.
Onion: onion also has antibacterial and antifungal properties. Juice a few onions and apply on feet twice a day.
Turmeric: turmeric has antifungal properties that remove bad shoe smell. Mix one tablespoon of turmeric with a glass of water and apply on feet three times a day.
The above remedies do not just work in one day; they require commitment and consistency. Here are a few more home remedies to remove the fungus that cause a bad odor in feet.
British salt: mix half a cup of British salt with 1 liter of water. Soak feet for 30 minutes. Do this daily.
Lemon: lemon is rich with citric acid that fights fungus and bad odor. Squeeze 1 lemon in to 1 liter of water and soak feet into the mixture for 30 minutes.
Vinegar: mix one cup of vinegar with 1 liter of water and soak feet for 30 minutes. Do this daily.
